I wish I could turn off Fav Notifications for my Free to Use stuff on DeviantArt. I can turn off mentions for them but not Favs. I really don't like the shear amount of spammage I get everyday for those icons, and If I could turn the notifications off for those little icons in that folder, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Just those specific pieces like I can do with the mentions. 

By the way, if you didn't know you could turn mentions off for specific artwork, and are subject to F2U Icon or Base Spam Torture, let me teach you how to turn it off. When someone mentions your deviation, on the right side is a drop down button. Click it and it will give you an option to "turn off notifications for this post". Ta-dah!

        I haven't had the problem recently but I remember in the past I made some f2u graphics and every time the user posted a journal using the thumbnail to add the graphic it would post a mention on my notifications. So I don't know if the disabling mentions thing was recently added or not.

          I've known about it for I think 2-3 years. AT least two, but maybe 3, which means it was a thing earlier because someone was kind enough to teach me about it.

            Nice! I wonder if it was implemented nearly around the same time they implemented the mentions feature then.
