Turns out not booting your PS4 for months and leaving it in a closet hurts it's feelings. The firmware somehow got corrupted... soooo... if I can't somehow restore it, I'm afraid there will be no VR games. If this is the case, I will instead stream some online fights on Smash Ultimate as a fallback.
