I worry about being heard. In a world of 7 billion people, being heard is very hard. I want to be heard because I want to make people think about things they may have never thought about before.
I want people to learn something true. Sadly people tend to think whatever they believe is true and this includes me. So I don't know the truth. I only have questions and ideas that might have some bits of truth inside of them. But I want to share that. However people don't tend to share what "might be true". We want absolutes. Anyone offering absolute truths will have their ideas spread and their voice will be heard. The problem is that they don't know the truth anymore than anybody else does. They're just more persuasive. So I sit here stuck with my ideas to myself. Lies that we know the truth seem to become far more popular than the ideas of seeking out truth. The lies of "yes" spread more than the possibilities of "maybe".
Hopefully this is the closest I get to emo poetry, but no promises.

Thankfully, we have the tools of rational thought and even more importantly, the scientific method for learning truth. :)
