Okay, kind of bad news. by TheOtherEliArts2001

Okay, kind of bad news. But hey it isn't the worst.

Recently our stuff from the U.S. finally arrived to us in Australia. That includes the desktop that I've been using for about 3 years... up until now.

My computer just broke.

An attempt was made to try and plug my desktop into the wall of our house. But for some reason, it suddenly sparked and started smoking. Therefore, the circuitry was probably fried and I can't use it anymore. All of the important data that it had was still on there, and we don't know if it survived. But what we do know is that now I have to buy a new computer.

You may be asking. How and why did this even happen? Well, outlets in Australia are designed differently than U.S. outlets. Now we were using a different cord for my desktop that was designed specifically for this type of outlet. But for some reason my desktop just couldn't handle the voltage, and it... kind of exploded. (Not really, but you get the idea.)

Am I angry? Not really. I am actually being chill about it since getting angry wont solve anything. I mean, we didn't really expect this to happen. Neither did I. But I am a little bit disappointed that I have to wait a little bit longer to make some proper digital art to post online. I am also a little worried that none of that data on the broken desktop survived. But what's done is done. I just have to be a bit more patient.

I'll update if anything else happens. See you guys around. :)

Okay, kind of bad news.

Yeah... bummer. Were actually trying to see if any of the data survived.

My computer is my life, if it broke I'd be devasted.

I've had a few computers break before, so this wouldn't be the first time for me.

Years ago I once had this laptop that fused during a thunder storm. There was no smoke and fire, but the circuitry had been fried. So my parents had to buy me a new one.
