My October by ilbv

October this year has by far been my busiest month of the year, and I've been swept up in a ton of stuff that has sapped my time, kept me awake late into the nights and really unable to do much online, much to my dismay.

So what have I been doing? Well October is the month of Halloween, and so for the whole Month, I was hired to work at a Haunted Castle Walkthrough event. The show ran every single night in October and even the last few days of September, rain or not, the show always went on.

I was one of the live actors who was dressed up as a Monster and got to jump out at people and chase them and scare the crap out of them, and I got paid to do that, such a blast!

So I did that for most of the month, some days I had off and they were then swept up into other work aside from the Haunted Castle, so I was having a few weeks in October where I worked literally every day of the week on something or other. I was exhausted and totally busy, my online life was not really going anywhere.

I even battled off a cold early into the job, I drowned that sucker in so much lemon ginger tea and chicken noodle soup, it was great. I was never so ill that I had to cancel a shift and I went full on into this job and did my best. I figured out my routines and timings and got some pretty hilarious and legendary scares. Probably gave plenty of kids some bad dreams, some kids were semi-nervous when I'd chase them and say in quiet voices "please don't eat me" to which inside I'm thinking, "my god, you have no idea."

I got tons of laughs too, when I'd charge at a group there would always be one or two terrified people and naturally, feeding off their fear I'd hone in on them and give them the best terror, they would shriek and scream and run and Id chase after them, they were never safe, and the rest of the group would be in hysterics of laughter and joy. I had so many people tell me "Great job buddy" after I terrorized their partners, and they continued down the path wiping tears from their eyes and on to the next scare. It was a great time, and I got such a killer work out doing it.

One shift in my second week, I drank 7 bottles of water within the 5 hours I was working and I didn't even have to use the washroom afterwards because I had literally sweat out all of the liquid. It was the most physically exhausting job I've ever had.

So that is why I've been away most of the month and only popping in here and there.

Now that October is over, so has ended my job and I am back to my regular day job seeking, while also trying to piece together everything online across all my accounts both real life and online life.

-----IN REGARDS TO ARTWORK------
I have several commissions, trades, and prizes on the go. I have not forgotten and I will not be annoyed if you send me reminder messages asking about progress on them, please be patient with me, I promise you'll get your work and if you are dissatisfied I can offer many optional perks and extras.

On top of this heavy workload, I stumbled upon a thing called "Voretober", there is even a group: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/voretober and basically it was an Art Challenge to draw a vore image every day relating to the prompt. I was so enthralled with the concept, I have never felt more inspired, so I joined. It was far more work that I expected, but given the amount of effort I put in to the images I made for it already I can see how it would take a lot of time, and I had very little of it as it stood. So I ended up only making it to Day 6, (only Drawing 1 is posted, my first Mawshot which I am super thrilled about) the drawings for them I made in late October anyway, so I have been off track since the first week. I also have been encouraging a budding artist friend of mine to also do the challenge and he got all the way to Day 24 before the month ended and I am so proud of him and the progress he has made.

I still intend to finish the Voretober, even though I've failed the aim of the challenge, at least the moral will still remain true, being inspired and creating artwork anyways.

Priority though needs to go to the people who have commissioned me! While I have accepted no payments yet, because I knew how busy I would be, I cannot keep these people waiting.

I've also got to find time to clear out the journal backlog and get some older scrap art posted up so my voretober drawings and others can be more relevant and exciting.

Now I have more news more relevant to November and I will be making a second journal that focuses more on those things because I've written a lot here already and don't want to overwhelm you guys.

So be sure to check out the journal that comes after this one!
