We've heard from and known a lot of pluralities with... turbulent relationships. Sibling rivalry at best, outright dysfunctional headspaces where everyone detests each other at worst. Sara and I feel very fortunate to have such a loving and supportive relationship. :) Hopefully yours is as well?

Sort of? Isel used to be the guardian demon that keeps me together in the hardest of times, yells at me for failing to stand up for myself, and comes out during periods of great emotional distress to drive away assailants, but I have grown a lot stronger recently, which made her feel unnecessary and unwilling to come out, or even talk much. Maybe I should encourage her to come out and just....be instead of needing a purpose.

Quite possibly! You know each other better than we would, but if your relationship is anything like most relationships, I imagine occasionally hanging out just to enjoy each other's company is healthier and nicer than literally only seeing each other when one of you needs something.
