Tags are important for users to be able to find your work, and for users to be able to avoid themes they are uncomfortable with. It helpd out both the artist being able to be found easier, and it helps out the community to be able to browse comfortably and safely.
If you don't like tags being added to your artwork, you can either Turn off Outsider tagging or add in an anti-tag list for specific tags that can be found in your Settings under "Community Tagging restrictions" here: https://www.weasyl.com/control/tagrestrictions
