Damn Dog... by NamelessTraveler

I was at work yesterday, and I got bitten by a dog! People bring their dogs to Home Depot, and all of the other ones have been really well behaved, so I didn't think anything of this one, and the owner even offered me to pet him. Man, my thumb is all screwed up, so I won't be able to do any of my duct tape art until it heals up enough... ;_;

It as one of those tiny dogs too... (A Peakenese to be exact)

People let small dogs get like that because that sort of behavior is seen as "cute" or "playful", while it's just plain destructive when a larger dog does it... Ah well, that's my $0.02 on it.

Well, I get tomorrow off, so I'm happy about that, I'll be doing some housework with the help of my little sister. :)

    I read somewhere that most dog bites are from small dogs, but aren't reported due to their size. So that's why you only hear about large dogs biting people. Granted, large dogs do more damage... but still. :C I agree with you there.

    My doggie is the calmest doggie ever, but he's so shy and doesn't really like attention. He haaates it when people start following us/him, asking to pet him. He gets so afraid, and he shies away... I have to nicely say no, though when they come AFTER us and pet him AND he doesn't see them, I want to scream at them. That's how you get bit, you jerk! Then it will be my fault, and because he's a rottie/german shepherd mix, he'll get put down! I don't think so, that's my bestest friend ever! >:I

    Arrrgg! Sorry to rant there... it wasn't really directed towards you, it was just a thought I had. :P But, I will say, if there's anything my doggie taught me, its to let the doggie sniff you first and then see how they react. My dog freaks out if he can't sniff someone before they pet him... I guess he just wants to know who/what is touching him. But its a lot better for us now that we're out of the city. :3
