🌱 How does the Market Place Pull Artists? by Uluri

It obviously doesn't sort by Newest set. I just tested that by setting my Commissions to open just now. When I looked up chibi (A tag that I have included to be searched by) I didn't come up until the second page. What does the basic Marketplace use to sort artists? Why isn't there a way to set it to Newest open?

I come up on the first page of other tags, but some shove me back.

    Hmm...That's weird.

Artists who have indicated that they prefer creating the content you’re searching for will appear higher in search results. Results are sorted by how well the artist matches the content you’ve searched for (if applicable), then by most recent upload time.

(Might still be confused) So I'd be farther Back on the "Chibi" tag if I haven't posted up Chibi art in a while? :T Folks innactive from 2017 were on page 1 of Chibi.

Content you search for will show up first in the results rather than who updated their commissions most recently. So if you searched for "Chibi" for $5 in USD, users who have chibi in their commissions list for $5 and take USD will show up first. This is so users can find things they searched for more accurately. It also allows more artists a better shot at being found, and prevents users from spamming the marketplace by refreshing their commission information over and over again just to appear first.
