Season 7 FHL NEWS - September 3, 2018

SEASON 7 EXPANSION DRAFT RESULTS

WORLDWIDE- On the Evening of September 2, 2018, the FHL completed the Season 7 Expansion Draft. During it, the two expansion teams, the Portland Pumas and Memphis Blue Kings, selected the first four players for their teams from the 16 teams that participated in Season 6.. The Results of the Draft are below.

Portland Pumas Selected:
Qaja Kebauet, D (SLC)
Abraham Barbardos, F (SAN)
Saaz Hallertau, G (RAL)
Kinta O’Connor, D (VCT)

Memphis Blue Kings Selected:
Gino, G (STL)
PJ, F (SAS)
Bjorn Grafeldr, D (SEA)
Momo, F (NWF)

These players have been moved to their new teams and will not enter the Regular Season Draft Pool.

RETENTION PERIOD OPENS

WORLDWIDE- With the completion of the Expansion Draft, the Retention Period for the Season 7 Regular Season Draft begins.

During the Retention Period, non-expansion teams must select players to retain from the Season 6 roster, minus the players taken during the Expansion Draft.

The teams are allowed to retain either:
Any number of players totaling a total CGP of 143
OR
Up to 4 Players without a limit to CGP

Teams have until September 15, 2018 to submit their Retainment lists.

Any players that are not on a Retainment list at the end of the deadline will be released and added to the Regular Season Draft Pool.
If any GM or Player has questions about the rules of the Retainment Period, they may contact a commissioner, or note the FHL.

ICE CATS DEAL BLUEFIRE TO PORTLAND

WORLDWIDE, Sept 3, 2018 - At 10:00 AM EST, the Raleigh Ice Cats and Portland Pumas agreed to trade Bluefire (F) to the Pumas in exchange for Abraham Barbados (F) and the Pumas' 3rd Round pick in the Season 8 Draft.

"The FHL is a non-profit, anthropomorphic, computer simulated, role-playing fantasy hockey league with 18 teams and over 200 participants in North and South America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania as of August 17, 2018.
