Yeah I've noticed the same thing. I figured it's pretty much what was stated above, with people getting bored of the inactivity without contributing to it themselves.
Personally I think the site needs more non-artists, or new artists. They're the ones who usually do the most browsing, but this site is really a bunch of well-established expatriates from FA and DA.

Very true, lets just hope for the best. I'd really like to see this site flourish through this dry spell.

I'm the same, as well as I'm active on a bunch of other sites. So I just kinda throw my art on this site and move along.
Unless this site becomes more like FA in it being social and lots of people commenting/giving feedback/chatting I won't be paying much more attention to it :/-
Thats pretty much how im starting to feel here. I really wish this site had more traffic, because FA had given me a good bit of grief about posting things. At least here i can pretty much post to my heart's content and not get nasty notes telling me to remove things, or have things removed without my consent. :/

Ya, im really sick of their childish behavior. FA needs people that arent kids spending 12 hours a day on the computer reporting the most mundane things they can find just to report it. Sad thing is i narrowed the list of people down that TT's me to 3 people. I have a strong feeling i know exactly who it is but i cant really confront them, they are one of those white knighting types. -_-

Agreed, its also very upsetting that regular members are taking the time to go through your entire gallery just to TT you for what i believe they are doing just for the fun of it. its like they think they are doing some sort of ultimate good, when all they are really doing is pissing off the artist and causing a huge issue over nothing. Just RAAAAAAAAA! D:

I totally agree, there's not as much activity as there was when I first started here either...
What I think it is is that the audience that this site drew was either young adults that unlike the usual teen fandom base don't have as much free time to browse and chat, so they just toss the art up and hope for the best, or people who heard about this site, wanted to try it out, but quickly got bored by the "inactivity".
Personally, I'm never using FA again, so I'll do my best to keep up my end of activity, but it's really rare that I find art that I'll comment on because I hate leaving one word responses on art (Unless it's that amazing :3)
