• Not just art, Nuke their Account Gallery, Scraps, Journals, Profile, everything, then Disable their account and leave. Like damn man, I really liked your work, and a lot of other people did too. Why did you do that?

Yeah okay, but dude you have all that art, and your journals on there for people to see and read, its like a museum. A History of You.

Why don't you just leave everything behind as a memorial, a lasting reminder of who you were here? Why does everything have to be deleted and gone?

I mean you can certainly do as you please, but I think its a real loss to just up and delete everything off your gallery. It was so neat to see where you started out and how you've progressed. Now its just gone and no one will get to enjoy it again.

sigh Such a shame. - I am not shaming the person, I am shaming the loss of the account and all its contents, there is a difference. The fact I need to be clear about this is ridiculous.

But hey if you are happy, than that is what really matters.
I am not opposed to the mental well being of other people, I am opposed to the erasing of art and history.
Perhaps I am taking this more personally because several good people who I consider to be good friends have done this, up and left and taken everything away. It feels like a betrayal. -

Now I GET that not everyone will agree with me or share this view. I understand that.
I need you to understand that this is my little piece of the internet where I should be allowed to vent and get out things I feel in a safe environment. I almost didn't want to write this because of the possible negative reaction it might generate. I am not trying to stir a pot, I am venting a loss okay? We are allowed to vent, we are allowed to be moved by something and speak out about it. (You might feel compelled to speak out about what I've written here) There is no crime here.

This is not Hate Speech, it's not Whatever-the-Bad-Wing-is Wing, it's not anything but my frustration. Many of you might think I;m being selfish, and maybe this is selfish of me to write, selfish of me to feel; flipping that point around though, I feel it is selfish of the people who do these kinds of things. Taking away something that myself and many others have enjoyed.

Nuking an account for any reason is selfish, even if its for the better mental state of the person. It is still something they are doing for themselves, potentially to be released from a pain or some kind of trauma, or some other reason, regardless, I still find it selfish. (Are we talking about Nuking and Account or Suicide now?)

YES, I know that artists and people who post things can do them as a vent for themselves, to get something done and out there for their own pleasure or preference, and not for any other reason; not for any other person. The fact that everyone else can see and enjoy something is merely a perk.

Some people post for themselves, and only for themselves, and they can/will remove something at anytime because they choose to for whatever reason. There is nothing anyone else can do about it, I understand that.

YES people can do whatever they want with their own accounts and galleries and art and journals, YES they can nuke them if they want to. My whole point and rant of this journal is because I DISAGREE with that course of action.

I Disagree with Nuking Accounts and Disabling them. This is a community of growth and support and discovering yourself and being safe here, among people who share many interests. Your artistic and personal journal is beautiful and wonderful and should be shared and cherished. Yeah I'm should-ing on you, doesn't mean you are required to do it.

Now after reading all this: You either feel the same way, a similar way with differences, or you totally agree when someone nukes their account and oppose everything I've just said, in which case you're probably triggered/shook/moved/angry, and are about to give me a piece of your mind.
I am open for hearing other views, I'd rather not debate, but this journal kind of set itself up for that potentially.
