Our intention is to memorialize Dani, who took her life this past Feb, and give all proceeds to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. https://www.nami.org/

Dani was always such a giving person, of her time, her art, and her energy. She helped fostered an amazing art exchange community as well as artist resources website that endures today. Since her passing, I have thought about her often. I don't think I actually ever met her in person, but she was a huge part of my life, and I want to keep her legacy alive in the minds and memories of our our community. If you are interested in contributing art to the pin design, we are accepting submissions until the end of August. We will select the pin design by way of democratic vote via artists_beware, and then send it to be produced, then have it available for sale. All proceeds will go to the above mentioned charity.
