I don't want to leave my bed; its warm and safe and more comfortable than anything out there.
The studies show that it takes only 1 post on someone else's social media feed to depress you. Seeing the best of someone else against the turmoil of your own situation.
It's my theroy that when your body is releasing all these depressive chemicals; that it is also starving you of security and comfort, making places like your bed and blankets feel even more addictive and cozy. An instinctive way to keep you in place, rest, sleep, recover.
So while many people have jobs and lives to attend to, I'm going back to sleep, because I've got nothing else to do.
