Just wanted to write an (actually) quick catchup journal before I dash off on another trip.

Just shy of 2 weeks ago, I got back from my trip to the UK to attend CFz 2018. It was a blast, and I plan on writing a bit more about my experiences there in a future journal. Hopefully soon.

Before that, though, I'll be heading down to Japan for a week starting from tomorrow, where I'll be doing some research in central Tokyo for another project I'm working on. I've got just about everything ready except for my luggage, and I'm finally getting to enjoy some of the excitement and anticipation (as opposed to just the anxiety) of traveling again.

Work's been a little tough, but I'm soldiering on. Hopefully next month will bring a lot more positivity and momentum for the projects I'm focusing on, as there's a lot to be done and I want to do it well.

It's been a really hectic couple of months for me, but I hope everyone's been enjoying the content I've been squeezing in whenever I can manage to.
