The Incredibles 2 - movie review by JohnStripedfur

For 14 years, both animation and Pixar fans have been clamoring for a sequel to The Incredibles. The potential is there. It's a superhero movie with tons of opportunities for storytelling. From the typical to the different. They've been through 2 Tory Story sequels, 2 Cars sequels, a Monster's Inc. prequel, and a sequel to Finding Nemo and after all that, it has finally arrived.

I loved the first movie when it came out. I went to see it a couple times in theaters. People have said it's the best Fantastic Four movie than any of the Fantastic Four movies. That description fits it to the tee. One of the best superhero movies of all time. For many years, I have hoped for a sequel because of all the Pixar movies, if one truly needs a sequel. The Incredibles truly does. And it's finally here.

The movie itself was fantastic. As great as the original. It was everything I had hoped for. Although, the plot is a bit predictable if I have to nitpick. If you've watched enough superhero movies, shows, and read enough comics, you kind of get the how it'll go down. If you've done it well, you can see pass it and enjoy the movie. Which I did and I really enjoyed it. Is it better than the original, I wouldn't say so. But, is it just as great? It is. Much like the Toy Story sequels, this one will be one of the greatest sequels of all time. Much like Finding Dory would be.

The wait is finally over. :)
