So Confuzzled 2018 happened. Finally went to my first furry con! And it won't be my last I assure you :)

My experience was overwhelmingly positive, had a extremely enjoyable time meeting the other people in the fandom (though travel not so much :) ). I have found a whole new appreciation for the furry fandom after spending my first con at Confuzzled. Although for next year I must prepare for a longer stay in 2019 as I don't believe I had the full experience. Couldn't go to all the events of the day both major and minor as I was only there on Saturday.

I have always wanted to go to a con, and now because I done just that I found myself reinvigorated to do new art and strive to do more art for the fandom.

Going to start small and then work my way up to bigger and better things. First on the list, a new Fursona. Whist at Confuzzled, I found myself a little bare without an additional badge with my character displayed. So to correct this and give myself a challenge, I will design a new character with a multitude of styles with the goal to see which one would suit my personality. The process should result in not only a new character but also the knowledge to later be put to good use in my future commission work.

I met some nice people, got to see fursuits everyone was raving about, chatted to new and existing furries about experiences in the fandom, got some swag, and experienced a day I will never forget. Will be back next year and more active in the fandom as whole. Until the next post. LP
