I need help writing my poem. Its about a girl who's loved one is gone, and she is going through pain and sorrow. She's drowning in her sadness and all be color she had is gone.

Judging by the last bit, focusing on colors would be a good idea. Likely one by comparing the characters experience before and after the disappearance. No color can cause things to blend together if a similar value as well. Good luck with the writing.
