Stepping Down From Weasyl by Taw

Hello everyone!

This likely isn't a surprise to some people, but I have stepped down (now officially) from Weasyl's team, and I'm no longer a Director.

Over the last few years I have had quite a lot of changes in my life and I haven't been able to dedicate the amount of time I previously had towards Weasyl. This was impacting my ability to contribute, and I did not want to be dead weight to the team. Stepping down in this case was the best choice for me.

I'm still going to be around, however, I won't be acting in any official capacity anymore! Please don't come to me if you need something fixed, 'cause I won't be able to help, other than point you in the right direction!

Weasyl was a great project to work with alongside many fantastic team members and I learned quite a lot over the past six and a half years. When I first started, I had some decent experience with moderation and running a website/community, however, there was a lot I never expected or thought I'd need to learn and pick up on! It was quite a fun learning experience, and definitely not one I regret!

A lot of fantastic friends have been made, both with fellow and previous staff, as well as people from the community we've built. Keep being awesome!

I look forward to seeing the site continue to grow and develop over the years to come!

Thanks! Don't be a stranger at all, I'm always happy to keep in touch! I'll probably still be around here and there too, haha.

Thank you for all the work you put in! I am really glad this site is around.

Not a problem! I'm glad I was able to work on something fun and contribute to the fandom in some way.

Eventually, I might do a write up of some of the history of Weasyl and my experiences more in-depth and clear up some of the rumors I've seen floating around over the years as well. Would be kind of fun, though I'd have to carefully make sure I'm not saying anything that's not public info, of course.
