Everyone knows that most computers and smartphones now have a dual core or higher processor. But this week im going to see if single core is all you need to use the modern Internet and how well it works.

My main computer has a 4Core Intel Processor and a very powerful graphics card, a blu -ray drive and 2 monitors.

However, this week I will be giving all of that up and begin to use a single core Windows XP designed system from 2004. I have installed Linux Mint 10 on it and it is incredibly fast for and old system. I'm using it to write this journal in fact. And yes, flash based sites such as You Tube all run perfectly.
