It was my birthday

Work this week went well. I didn’t even have to sit very long after my delivery in Laredo. I did have to deal with some snow once I was north, but even that wasn’t too bad.

On Tuesday it was my birthday. For the last few years, at least five, maybe as much as ten, my birthday has been a non-event. It isn’t that I have anything against celebrating my birthday, I simply don’t see a point in celebrating it. Before it became a non-event, I’d arrange to be home on that day, and invite friends to go to a restaurant, sometime we’d go back to my place.

One thing I never really did, even back then, was make a production of my birthday
