Miitomo coming to an end on the 9th May! by BlazRtheDragon

Welcome to the Daily Dragon Tab. I'm BlazR, your #1 official host within this post, bringing you the latest news and discussions, as well as upcoming info, events, media and other content based beyond the real world and anywhere else in between!

Today marks the 100th journal episode of the Daily Dragon Tab, so it's time to celebrate it with a little bit of freedom, fun and a lot of full potential.

What exactly is it? Well, you've come to the right time at the right place! I'm talking about Miitomo. Now, as of the 24th January of 2018, Nintendo and DeNA announced that Miitomo, the first ever mobile project to be co-created within a partnership, is about to end on the 9th May. Those that know absolutely nothing about it, Miitomo is a mobile application with life simulation elements that allow users to create their own Mii, give them voices, answer questions, share their relationship, don clothes, take pictures and much more. Where can you find the source till its end? iOS and Android.

For over two years strong, Miitomo has been catering those who've been waiting for the Nintendo NX reveal, which would later be known as Nintendo Switch, a handheld home console hybrid that would become a pure staple of 2017's best acclaimed product for all things Zelda, Bomberman, Rabbids and even Super stinking Mario! There is little to no reason on seeing Miitomo go out with a bang, so expect a two year anniversary to take place on the 31st March. In the meantime, here's an instant message from the pros!

We would like to thank you all for enjoying Miitomo!

Miitomo will end its service at 12:00 (PDT) on the 09.05.2018, and we want to thank you for your support since the Miitomo app's launch.

The sale of Miitomo coins ended on the 24.01.2018.
Until the end of the Miitomo service on the 09.05, we're offering daily login bonuses of Miitomo coins and game tickets so that users can continue to play Miitomo Drop and use other features, such as the Miitomo Shop.

About the app after the end of service
If you launch the app at the end of service on the 09.05, you'll see a message informing you that service has ended. You will no longer be able to use any of the app's features.
You will no longer be able to see your answers or messages in the app.
You will no longer be able to use items you've obtained in the app, such as clothing items, wallpapers or posters.
You can transfer your Mii character to your Nintendo account by linking it to Miitomo. (Its personality and other information will not be carried over.)
Sidekick Mii characters will be deleted. You can keep Sidekick Mii characters by saving them as a QR Code before the end of service on the 09.05.2018 12:00 AM (PDT). They can then be transferred into Mii Maker on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems ONLY.
You will NOT be able to view Miifotos, including those you have shared to your social media channels. If you want to save any Miifotos, you must save them to your smart device before the 09.05.2018 12:00 AM (PDT).
Miitomo-themed icons and clothing items used in your Nintendo account or the Super Mario Run game will not display after the service has ended.

As mentioned, Miitomo has been a primary source for catering players that are interested into chatting with each other and enjoy having a good time. Well, that and the fact that you can pretend to be a cicada. Hey, what do I know? I'm just a dragon who adores big animal guys and super soft sides. That's all. Now in all seriousness, if this affects Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, there could be a high chance of me, going back to more fat stuff. However, I'll have to explain my concern about my relationship between me and Game Freak till E3 2018 is just around the bend.

But I wanna know what all you daily draggies think. Are you satisfied to see that life simulation had been a pain for you? Or was it enjoyable? Are you gonna miss using Miitomo? Or will you ever forget all those cringeworthy posts people keep mispelling out on? Leave your response in the comment section!

Coming up later today, we've got the goods about Pokemon Crystal finally arriving to the Nintendo 3DS, which is out now. Can the GBC version of Donkey Kong Country save those who don't own the newer models? Stay tuned for more!

That's all I have for today. Until next time, see ya later!
