So here is the author bio I have prepared for my website (WIP) and upcoming first book release. As usual I'm behind schedule as I come up with things I know I'll need to do, but progress is progress. That being said, tell me what you think?

Author Bio (Short)

Lauren Rivers is an avid lover of serialized arc based stories set in worlds of her own creation. Inspired by some of her favorite storytellers they have motivated her to constantly test new techniques and expand her skills as her worlds grow along with her.

She is a lover of all hooved animals, but especially zebras (duh). Always working on one project or another, you’ll always find something percolating in her brain whether it be a new character or a new idea for her next story.

She lives in Texas with her two cats and her favorite plush bear, Teddy.

Lauren Rivers is a published author and avid storyteller with a passion for serialized arc based narratives. As a young mare she had a penchant for writing stories which were mercifully short and usually involving spaceships. Through a combination of experience and observation she learned additional techniques such as plot and character development which made her later efforts worthy of being shown around.

She lives in Texas with her two cats and favorite plush bear named Teddy. She spends most of her free time writing, keeping up with her friends, or working on her various video projects. In her free time she watches scifi and anime both for inspiration and enjoyment. Occasionally found gaming or listening to music she is always looking for ways to excite her muse.

Her writing style is best described as multiple interwoven threads wrapped around each other to make a stronger narrative. Often using several plots at the same time she will bounce them off of each other to create a deep and complex narrative. A fan of story arcs she often enjoys following events from the start to the finish believing consequences make stories much more compelling, as well as their ability to go deeper and reach points you simply can’t achieve when every week is a new adventure.

She is a lover of hooved animals, especially zebras! She wears her stripes with pride, doing her best to represent her species every chance she gets. Often seen at furry conventions, she loves giving hugs and being friendly. Her passion for writing can be seen in both how much she produces and the hard work she puts into creating her stories. Each tale is given the same amount of love and attention, planned in advance as she would rather do it right than do it fast.

Her dream is to share her stories with the rest of the world and to inspire them as her favorite creators had once done for her.
