So yes, Weasyl~

I consider myself not as a regular user for Weasyl, because it has some annoying things around, that prevents me to use it frequently. The most annoying aspect of those "bugs" are the fact, that, when I upload something new, the system will tell me, that I already uploaded something with the same name, but in truth, it is something different. What the *** Weasyl!? Only because I use a number system, that contains the date and the time, doesn't mean, that it is the same file.

But I think, it is just the broken algorithm of Weasyl, that can't see, if there is really a difference between the numbers, because it only looks at the whole name.

But lets come back to the topic: My feeling is, that Weasyl is like the Dailymotion of the Furry Art Galleries. You know Dailymotion, right? It was in the past the alternative against Youtube, but the one *** thing about it was, that you get barely views and attention on it. It is like, that your videos going to be hidden very hard from them, in order to prevent the spread of "naughty" videos. When you on Youtube get like 100 views in a week, you will just get 2 views on Dailymotion in 1 year.

You know, what I mean? Furaffinity is the main place of Artwork from Furries, for Furries and Weasyl is something younger, then the other page, but I do like the functions here on Weasyl, but otherwise, when you are a artsit, that wants to get the fanbase set, I recommend to go to Furaffinity, because Weasyl is more like a Art page gallery. You won't get much views on Weasyl at all and also barely favs, because there are not enough people on Weasyl.

I won't say, that Weasyl is going to be dead in some years, but it feels just like it and why should people consider using this Page, when FA has been established much longer and they recently updating their page too. For example the Beta Skin of FA is very promising and with those bugfixes, the experience on FA gets better and better.

To conclude: Weasyl is not very populated by others and remain in that way, because it is like the Dailymotion of Furry Art Gallerie Pages.
