A few weeks ago I was watching my nightly Youtube videos as usual. As is always the case on that site I ended up noticing a related video, discussing a new cartoon. I decide to click on it and see what that's all about. It's called Hedgehog and Squirrel, and seems like a pretty nice toon with furry characters.

So what makes this toon so special you ask? One thing in particular: The cartoon is, I kid you not, made by North Korea. From what I understand it's a nationalist propaganda series, which is easy to tell as the theme is obviously military. The other unusual thing that stands out is that this is possibly one of the only kids cartoons in the world to contain scenes depicting blood and death... which considering what a snowflake the occident is when it comes to kids shows, I gotta admit is pretty badass.

The thing that makes it worth mentioning here though is that it's also a furry cartoon. Meaning that it has anthro animals... which of course isn't unusual in a cartoon, but they seem to be more the type of thing that the fandom would fall in love with. The most commonly known character is a vixen who's name I haven't caught yet, but she makes me think of a few folks from Starfox... that and she looks gorgeous.

Now I'm obviously posting this for a reason; I wanna see more weird fanart of this... me wants it and me wants it naaaaaao! What better thing to do with a cartoon made by North Korea than lots of that nice porn the fandom is good with? I mean hell, we have that with so many series (Pokemon, Sonic, etc), but in this one case it feels like it would somehow carry an added value of fun and justice. That and I doubt any of us can expect running into copyright issues over doing stuff with this show, for reasons that are totally obvious.

I've actually found a few artists working on it already, so kudos to that! Let's see if more people can spread the word and help improve this promising series :)
