Masses Walking Towards A Bright Light Dream by GuzzleMuzzle

In this dream, there were many anthros both of "more human-like" composure (think vanilla Skyrim khajiit and Argonians), and a more beastly composure with digitigrade legs and the like (think taurens from World of Warcraft). I think there were also humans, but I doubt it.

The dream started out like an unexplained 3rd-person video game (think of the secret game in Metal Gear Solid 3 that you can play when Naked Snake sleeps in the enemy prison). My "character" was a female anthro feline who wore flowing, semi-transparent clothing (you could say they were a khajiit and you'd probably be right). I entered a place where I was able to lightly jog around through shallow puddles of water, in a place of very clear skies and very much greenery, with a very bright, sun-like light shining in the distance. The scenery was seriously dream-like and naturally beautiful - think of psychedelic artful pictures, like something you may see be associated with non-mainstream music, or Lisa Frank school supplies or other school supplies with varied fantastical imagery on them from the 90s. The kind of imagery that may attract art-loving females (or art loving individuals with feminine qualities who identify otherwise). Waterfalls and rainbows, including a rainbow ring coming from the bright light source far ahead, and all around light blue skies and purely imaginative sights (think coloration and sights somewhat akin to this: https://i.imgur.com/83GZBuj.jpg ).

The viewpoint of this scenery was "locked". There was a clear forward focus, and also, it "scrolled" forward, as if this were like one of those "automatically scrolling levels" from old video games. The "screen" slowly scrolled forward, often even "pushing" me forward if I lingered near the "bottom face" of the screen. I was continually made to proceed forward no matter where I would move to. And soon, there were other beings nearby who were also moving forward, though in video game terms, they were more like "pre-programmed NPC characters" than looking to be controlled by real "players", as they would only walk forward, and do nothing else. With my character, I could attempt to walk/run up to any one of them and communicate, but after trying (was there even a "gamepad"?), nothing would happen. They would simply continue forward. Worth noting is, most of these initial beings were anthro creatures who were of the more beastly composure that I mentioned earlier, with digitigrade legs, and large, wide haunches. They too were wearing flowing clothing, as if attending some manner of wedding.

The auto-scrolling procession continued. At some point, I think the viewpoint became "unlocked", except it could only move forward. With my "character", I ran around and went forward more so, until the robed anthro beasts from earlier were nowhere to be found; presumably lagging behind. It was then that I started to see much larger, imposing figures. And they were charging towards me. They looked like huge minotaurs wielding huge weapons. They stomped all around. I would dodge them. Sometimes they charged backwards at an angle, or even came forward from behind. They didn't seem to pose much of a threat, but I was keen to avoid making my "character" touch any of them. The proceeding forward continued.

This is where the dream gets really scary.

Soon, the cool color temperature lighting began to take on warmer hues. There were less greens and blues, and more oranges, reds, and browns, all in tandem with the light source (think of something akin to this coloration, but with a very bright light ahead: http://wallpaper-gallery.net/images/beautiful-nature-hd-wallpapers/beautiful-nature-hd-wallpapers-11.jpg ). At this point, there were several anthro beings of all sorts walking towards the light, and so many of them that it was difficult to get around them without bumping into someone. I would try to make my "character" weave through the crowd, but whenever my character made contact with another character, all of a sudden, an exclusive moment would ensue that included only my character and the character I bumped into, where that character would brutally slaughter my character. After the animation sequence ended, things would go back to how they were before that happened. Every time my character would bump into another character, a new joint animation of that character killing my character would happen, before things were returned to normal. This began to happen frequently, as the room for moving around lessened more and more. It became a chaotic entourage of characters killing my character, until eventually, it all stopped.

Things became far more calm at this point.

Something happened that was like one of those neon violet and blue scenes you'd see in things from the 80s period, or from the here and now that pay homage to the 80s period. It was like watching an old TV show. Soon, there was the notion that everything from before was merely a proceeding segment in correlation to a small, passive notion that occurred...on a game show. It was let on that the long moments and sights from before were a take on...something indiscernible, that occurred as a part of a game show. There was soft music (or just a jumble of soft instrumentals since I can't remember any of it) like something out of a Bob Ross art segment. At this point, everything was casual and peaceful - a stark contrast to what I had just witnessed.

And the dream ended.

This dreaming session hails from a brief point in time (in reality) where the weather had knocked out the cable service my family uses in our area. I don't know if it should be attributed to a non-hereditary chemical imbalance concerning the amount of sugar I consumed before attempting to sleep, or attributed to that I've seen a great many odd and however more or less disturbing things in the time I've been alive. I would blame chemicals, on that it's common that even people who don't regularly peruse odd and more so questionable content have also experienced odd dreams.

Our internet was still cut off when I awoke. I'm glad it's back on. Somewhat. I enjoy looking up odd things, though this dream came as a surprise to me...
