Cintiq and the like? Halp. by Farouche
Do you use one? Are there several models or brands like this? Any good one / recommandations?
I've been contemplating getting one if money falls from the sky, 'cause part of my art block comes from my mental health, but also how discourageing using my regular tablet has been even after years of practice, and I'm not into traditional art much anymore these days. At least not my own.
I'm all ears. 'o'

I don't have one, but the tablet I have, which works great (my own incompetence excepted...) I chose through reading reviews by this guy: http://frenden.com/tagged/review he reviews an enormous range of tablet/cintiq like devices from different companies & at different price ranges. I think he's definitely worth reading before you choose. :>

J'utilise une Cintiq "ancienne génération" 12wx format A4. Je sais que la nouvelle génération "HD" du même fabricant est bien meilleure que la mienne chez le même fabricant (Wacom) précisemment niveau colorimétrie (mon wx est faiblement saturé et les bleus différent des écrans standards actuels. Aussi pour étalonner mes couleurs, j'ouvre un doublon de fenêtre de mon dessin sur mon écran HP plus récent pour m'assurer du résultat des couleurs). Je ne connais pas d'autres références hors Wacom car Wacom me suffit amplement niveau précision et confort.
