Wii U name removed from Nintendo of America by BlazRtheDragon

Welcome to the Daily Dragon Tab. I'm BlazR, your #1 official host within this post, bringing you the latest news and discussions, as well as upcoming info, events, media and other content based beyond the real world and anywhere else in between!

If you're one of those people who don't happen to own a Wii U console, nor even heard about it, have I got a surprise for you! Nintendo of America had removed all mention about the name, especially its Wii branding, in order to wholly focus on both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Golly! What a great way to focus on something that's more popular.

In addition, after five years of being criticized and failed as one of the worst selling consoles in history, let alone becoming an embarrassment to the hardcore gamers, the Wii U will not be remembered because of its casual style, but may be regarded for its handful of first party titles. Let's hope that the Switch doesn't recognize the repetitive motion controls provided by you-know-who that was recently involved.

What did you guys think? Was the Wii U an epic failure? Did Nintendo attempted the right thing to remove its name from the North American website? Are you hoping that the 3DS and the Switch will be strong enough to survive together? Lemme know what you guys think in the comment section!

And one last thing: Are you ready to witness the Daily Dragon Tab's "serious" take on the history of the worst selling console that they call the Wii U? Expect a special episode to arrive on the 26th October, exactly one day before Super Mario Odyssey's worldwide release.

That's all I have for today. Until next time, see ya later! ;)
