A scary nightmare and a weird dream by GuzzleMuzzle

The first dream was brief and brutal. It began at around midnight, in the dream that is, and I was lying in a bed that my dad was also lying in. I got up to go check the front door, and I saw a short lady wearing blue clothing who was holding a rather large pistol that she readied. Then she rang our doorbell. I worriedly went back to my dad, but he was asleep. The doorbell didn't wake him up. Then I went back to the door. The short lady was still there. Eventually, she left, and soon after she did, a thugish-looking man stood in front of our door. He was also holding a pistol. Eventually, he started to voluntarily ram the door with his weight, trying to get it to open. I then went back to my dad, trying to quickly wake him up. The man had successfully opened our door, and my dad wouldn't wake up. I was terrified, as the bedroom I was in was right next to the front door. The man walked into that bedroom, and shot my dad three times. I screamed in the dream, and ten he shot me three times. I could see the man walk off into the rest of my house. Then the dream ended here.

I've had recurring dreams about armed men trying to break and enter into my home...

The second dream was more on the weird side of things. There were kids of relatives and those relatives over our house. We watched a Scooby Doo episode about Batman and Robin where a little boy and a little girl wanted to be sidekicks to Batman, and they both had big letter "R"s on their chests, like Robin. The episode was silly, and a "monster" was chasing them. Eventually, we turned it off to play video games.

We then began to talk about video games. One of our kid cousins over, a little girl, talked about how she liked Mega Man, and how there was supposedly a game called "Mega Man 29". Apparently it was a PS1 game, if not burnt to a disc formatted to properly work on PS1 somehow. At that time, oddly enough, I wanted to play Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I put a disc into a game console. Somehow, that brief moment of action translated into me putting the "Mega Man 29" disc into a "PSOne" (not a "PSX" PS1). It loaded up, and I saw a bit of its intro. A pinkish, orangeish screen with quirky-looking characters on it. Then I stopped, saying "I actually wanted to play Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. We turned off the PSOne and took out the "Mega Man 29" disc and, quote, "put another disc into a game console". Somehow, that brief moment once again translated into someone putting "Mega Man 29" into the PSOne nearby. I only saw the intro for a few seconds before I took it out, and actually put the Prince of Persia: Warrior Within disc into a slim PS2.

The PoP: WW disc loaded up. We had talked about the third Prince of Persia game for PS2, "Two Thrones", for some reason. While the PoP: WW game was going through its intro bits, my dad entered the room, and started to literally get offended by that we were showing little kids that game (Note: This part was realistic, as my parents and sister get easily 'triggered' over fictitious entertainment). I continued playing, and then somehow, amidst the game's introductory bits after you start a new game, its opening sequence translated into something that was somehow supposed to herald what was to be a direct sequel to the PS2 video game "Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7", showing characters from FF7.

This part stood out.

I played this sudden new game, and there was a hub world in it. My character was Cloud Strife, but in-game I was meant to play as Vincent Valentine, the main protagonist of DoC: FF7. After making my character talk to Yuffie Kisaragi, who stood in front of five other non-descript characters - who for some reason were performing varying "Super Sentai stances" - and then suddenly, a cutscene that took place in a tidied up home began. There was a family of people who were celebrating that a woman had given birth to "a son". Upon this part's beginning, in "real life", I had told my surrounding family and cousins that I really wanted them to pay attention to this part, and then they did. My step sister seemed to pay the most attention. In the game's cutscene, a male figure congratulated a woman on giving birth to her son. Then every character in the game fell quiet, and a little boy character nearby slowly stated this phrase "But...they don't have a father." For some reason, this moment in the video game resonated strongly with my step sister, and she broke down into tears. The very next thing that happened in-game was a cut to a view of the side of a grotesque mouth that belonged to some sort of grey colored monster, which slowly arose from having been on the floor. Then there was an angled view of the monster's upper body from below. It roared. The game then almost immediately transfered from that moment into a point where the player was to play as Vincent Valentine, armed with a shotgun, and fight the monster in a claustraphobically small room. Somehow, this part translated into a co-op gaming experience, where both players played as Vincent, and my step sister somehow became involved in playing let alone took control of a somewhat stronger character. Somehow, I interpreted this as something to expect, and cheered her on for playing as a stronger character.

The dream ended here.

I have no idea why I dreamed like this...
