This happened many many years back and is mostly a forgotten incident now, but remembering it again bothers me sometimes. So I decided to spit it out and talk about it now.

Some many years ago, my DeviantART notifications center informed me that a well-known artist under my watch whom I didn't expect would actually take notice of me added one of my arts under her Favorites. I was flattered, happy even. XD It's not that common that well-known artists way more famous than I am would take notice of my arts and put them under their Favorites. It's a sign that I've become quite popular myself, enough for even the big honchos out there to take notice of my art.

But then, I got a private note from her. She said something like "Whoops, sorry! I accidentally faved your art by mistake! I hope that you don't take it personally," something like that.

I was disheartened. =_=

Really, I don't care if you decided to unfav my art. Just please don't mention to me about it. =_= I don't even need to know about it. >_< The fact that this artist decided to go into the trouble of informing me that the fav was a mistake is, to me, quite infuriating, and also quite discouraging to the artist who drew that pic in the first place. It's as if my art is worthless. I stopped being her fan since then.
