I'm not privy to it, but it's worrying by GuzzleMuzzle

The value of an individual's creative works. How well someone can thrive on their own craft. This is honestly beyond me, so I'm only speculating and, quite frankly, stumbling in the dark.

I've never been knowledgeable about business practices in general, and I can't say I am now even at 34 years of age. It's just never been high among my concerns. However, I've done some video watching at times, and if I'm in any way accurate, it seems like it's become extremely hard for people to make good money from their own productions, I guess, when things are being handled on a smaller scale of overall involvement and support. Ignorant as I am to this, it's obvious that oversaturation plays a huge role in it. There's just too much that has already come first, or thrived in inspiration, forcing people to work much harder.

The only thing that comes to mind in this is video games, since that's what I've always known (my textual side was born largely of inspiration regardless of what my skill may seem born from). That, and art in general. Ideas initially taken, leading to heavier focus on other things in productions beyond what was prioritized in older works, along with the natural shifts in popular opinion that come in every era. Sans where ideas may fail on poorly timed release or bad execution, it just seems that much of the atmosphere surrounding creative entities is very unfair. I don't have any examples on-hand to note. This dissertation is more so based out of my feelings than facts and sources.

It'd help greatly if any of you could share your opinion on this topic. I would love to hear of and possibly discuss what you know about the present day atmosphere for creative entities.

Its not like I'm keeping track of events to be honest. Yet the feeling out there is that an artist today has to be more like a TV show with Livestreaming, or they have to post on many networks since some artists have a long list in their profile etc.
