It feels different when there are many games by GuzzleMuzzle

Gaming love. It's very nice to have a very broad selection, but it's not always as warming to know there's always another game around the corner beyond the few you have available, I guess, if you're prone to skimming through several games. I was one of those kids who always wanted to try out any new thing (always pestering my dad to download DOS games in the old internet BBS board 56k modem days).

It's honestly great to have so many titles to choose from, and in many genres, or that are of a genre-defying nature. Gaming has blown up into a massive thing since the old Sega Genesis and, further back, Commodore 64 days I fondly remember. If you're not too picky, you can find and play anything these days, in the form of free flash games, or in free deals on bigger, more ambitious games if you're not buying. It's amazing. If my goofball generation of kids had that sort of thing in our day, a lot of us would never have gotten anything done. xD

What I want, though, is a homely feeling. I want the kind of feeling you get when you feel that what you're engaged in is very weighty and fully featuring. However, it's largely my own fault that I don't often feel that way on account of my own obsessive curiosity. At least, from a distance, I love a lot of what I've seen in modern gaming over the years, not to only denote AAA modern gaming, but all of gaming that has cropped up in the past two and a half decades. It's redundant now as I've expressed this many times, but I am most often always amazed at what I see in gaming now, some of that being efforts that were put forward during my time that I just never knew about, and many more far after my time.

There're a few things going on in gaming now that have many people upset, but I sincerely hope that, for the sake of creativity, enlightenment, and always, fun, gaming continues to thrive, and gain much more support. Here's to those select individuals who enjoy video games now in the loving ways I did when it was far harder to gain access to what the medium had to offer. =D <3
