The Best Pokemon Direct to date! by BlazRtheDragon

Welcome back to another new episode of the Daily Dragon Tab. My name is BlazR, your #1 official host within this post, bringing you the latest news and discussions, as well as upcoming info, events, media and other content that's based on the real world and anywhere else in between.

It was a great Tuesday morning. I got out of bed, just to see what's new, and before I knew it, the Pokemon Direct was there. And it blew my mind away! Well, that, and a couple of games that surprised me at the moment. But let's cut the crud and get into the good stuff that Bandai Namco and the Pokemon Company have been expecting to show us!

Pokken Tournament DX

As the name suggests, publishers Bandai Namco Entertainment & Bandai Namco Amusements and developer the Pokemon Company have decided to kick the worst selling console in the googly woogly and snag Pokken Tournament into the Nintendo Switch, slapping a deluxe moniker on it. It plays just like an arcade game, except it has up to five notable characters: Darkrai, Scizor, Croagunk, Empoleon and, representing from Sun and Moon, we have Decidueye! Isn't he a precious owl archer with lots of fighting potential? No offense, but I'd be sticking with Sceptile on this one. Heh. Pokken Tournament DX is about to end the legacy of the worst selling console this upcoming 22nd September of 2017.

Pokemon ULTRA Sun and Pokemon ULTRA Moon

Well, this is no surprise to see. Game Freak, the makers of all things slices of pizza or whatnot, has given Sun and Moon a strange updated version of ULTRA Sun and ULTRA Moon, complete with unseen Pokemon that were never shown in the original. Welp, looks like we're entering the same fate that Unova is, let alone not giving Sinnoh some remake love and all. Was it because of that Canadian who made the EAD become defunct and shift as EPD? Perhaps, but I already have a copy of Pokemon Moon. Do you really expect me to go through the entire game without the need of cheat codes? I don't wanna sound all too harsh nor mean, but it's complete bullocks to take forever on getting my characters leveled up. And I do mean a bad reference to the Action Replay Powersaves update where you... pay for the cheats online. With pounds. Trouble is, I don't know how the frick I'm supposed to convert my US dollars INTO UK pounds at this time! It's crazy, y'know? Anyway, Pokemon ULTRA Sun and Pokemon ULTRA Moon will be released for the Nintendo 3DS this upcoming 17th November. Nintendo needs to delay Super Mario Odyssey into December somehow...

Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver coming to the Nintendo 3DS!

Don't think this episode's the end, folks! I've saved the best for last. Pokemon Gold Version and Pokemon Silver Version will finally be coming to the Nintendo 3DS' Virtual Console category within its 3DS exclusive eShop webstore! Debuted in 1999, the year where the Dreamcast became a fully remembered console to this day, you can relive both Gold and Silver for the first time, straight from the Color and into the 3DS. Now you won't have to deal with that chubby faker who has a flame on its tail anymore! And... hey. May I recommend a better fire type like Typhlosion? I knew you guys would. We should totally give more love... wait! I forgot! We already did that earlier. Ha-ha! Pokemon Gold Version and Pokemon Silver Version will be launched on the same day as Pokken Tournament DX, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. The formal will be launched for the Switch, so be sure to check that out before E3!

What did you all think of the Direct? Does Pokken Tournament DX make you wanna forget about that silly looking console that looked exactly like a Fisher Price toy? Are you bummed out about Game Freak's lazy situation with ULTRA Sun and ULTRA Moon? Are you excited to pick up Gold and Silver on your 3DS before Odyssey shines through the holidays? Lemme know what you guys think in the comment section down below, and I'll check 'em out.

Coming up tomorrow! It's the E3 predictions and a spectacular departure announcement. Plus, I've got a date with the ones I've already met in January, so expect that to happen, too!

That's all for today's episode of the Daily Dragon Tab. Until next time, see ya later! And if you'll excuse me... (picks up a chainsaw and a safety mask) I'm gonna go chainsaw that one console in front of those Octarians.
