I've been a fan of the Alien franchise for a long time. I might even consider I like the Alien movies more than the Predator movies. Alien is a true horror classic and Aliens is what many consider one of the greatest action movies of all time. Alien 3 was a bit of a misstep, but it had an excellent premise. Alien: Resurrection however, almost killed the franchise all together. And then we got the AVP movies. shrugs And I was disappointed in Prometheus. It had more questions than answers and the "scientists" in the movie were dumb. So, I was hoping Alien: Covenant would help rekindle the franchise.

And I think it did. In a way. It felt like more the original Alien movie than it's own. It followed the same way the original did, but it has some differences. Although, it finally gave us answers Prometheus tried to do. And hoping that if there'll be another sequel, I would love to see more of what they could do.

Overall, if you're an Alien fan. You would enjoy this movie since it'll remind you of the original.
