...SHITTY JOB! :D -dance-

Today something awesome happened. But this also comes with some bad news. But I'll go ahead and start with the good:

[ GOOD NEWS ]

After countless interviews, today I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my local piercing shop was looking for an apprentice. For a while, I've been thinking about becoming an apprentice for piercing, and I guess today it was meant to be. I am starting something new and exciting, and I believe these kinds of things all happen for a reason. I'm stoked, to say the least. As well, this means I am FINALLY free of my shitty dead-end job that I can no longer stand. I may go back during the summer to get some extra money, but otherwise, I'm leaving the company and I am SO excited to do something that doesn't drain me of my soul, emotions, and everything else. My current job is so toxic and perpetuates negativity, and I've HAD it with this job. I really can NOT express how fucking ecstatic I am right now. But, this also comes with a downside, unfortunately.

[ THE BAD NEWS ]

Unfortunately, I am still obligated to pay bills and the apprenticeship isn't paid. And between school and apprenticing, I am NOT going to be able to work any sort of 'real' job. I'm going to be spending most of my days at the shop working towards being able to pierce and make it my job/career until I'm totally done with school. I'm more than 1/2 but not more than 3/4 done, and I'm pushing to get my AA as fast as possible so I can transfer and get my BA in Fine Arts. I HAVE to be able to help my partner with the bills, and he's asking for me to help with at least 500$/mo, and that number does not include groceries.

[ THE SOLUTION ]

With this in mind, I'm going to be turning to you guys. I am aware I currently have a few things I need to complete but I will be reopening for commissions, but not as they were before. Here's the game plan:

1. These commissions WILL be on a first come, first serve basis.
2. I will offer a specified amount of slots, and limited types of commissions to save myself from drowning in them (again).
3. There will be 4 types of deals - $200 2-char lewds (full body/full color), $100 full bodies (full color), $75 half bodies, and $40 chibis. Look for the twitter notice to know what will be open/offered.
4. Keep an eye out on my twitter ( https://twitter.com/EzriArt ) for when I will be offering slots.
5. TOS still applies! Please READ IT!
6. They will be wing it's: so no WIP's of your commission! If you trust me and like my style then this will help me get your art done faster!

I plan to make SUNDAYS my primary commission days. And there will be times I may do stream-only commissions. This helps ease the burden on me so I feel less bogged. Of course, homework will ALWAYS take priority though, and I am taking both a painting AND a drawing class. So there may possibly be wait times of a few weeks. I will try to also update my queue at least once a week, granted something needs changing, so it always reflects the current queue.

[ WILL YOU EVER RE-OPEN FOR REGULAR COMMISSIONS? ]

Any time soon? Likely not. But eventually yes. It's just too much to do ultra complex art while I'm trying to make ideally 800/mo, if not more, because I still have to pay for food and gas on top of rent. Time is a real issue at this moment so I'll just be sure that things go smoothly for both myself and you guys. Any and ALL love and support is definitely needed right now!!

PS -- Even if my Skype says I'm "available' I'm probably not. My week looks like this:

M - Th: 7am - 3pm [School], 4 - 9pm [Apprenticing], if no homework then sleep
Fri & Sat : 4 - 11pm [Apprenticing]
Sunday : Day off; but likely either doing chores, homework, sleeping, or spending time with the bf. May stream depending on circumstances.
