TFF and Stuff. by Ryngs

Just writing to say TFF was a blast (didn't like having to do the overflow hotel thing tho, that was kinda annoying). Thank you for all those that hit me up, complimented me, bought ALL my stock art, and commissioned me for sketch books and badges at the Con. Maybe next Con I will have all my shit together and have more to sale, and some new stuff.

I am working on several projects/commissions at once, and I will have stuff to show for it eventually. It feels good that I am once again in the studio for at least part of the day and getting stuff done.

On another note, I am taking a break from hard liquors. Nothing happened, I am just not finding the same joy I used to from whiskey. Maybe I am getting old, maybe my body is telling me its had enough, maybe I just need to try something different. This will not prevent me from “Scotch Tastings”, or the once a year margarita, or pina'colata. I just seem to have lost all desire to get drunk on the stuff. So, meads, sweet beers (like Lambic; Raspberry is my fav), or ciders for me for the time being. Anything with Hops in it gross btw...

That is all...

TFF and Stuff.

Definitely agree on the hops. I pretty much never drink beer, 'cause of the taste.

You should try sweet beers. I highly recommend Lambic. Its fruity, fizzy, and not to sweet and not bitter at all. Its one of my favs. I am fond of berry ciders as well.

Hmm, might have to keep an eye out. I really enjoy hard apple ciders, haven't tried other varieties though. n.n

Hops are definitely an acquired taste. Some breweries actually use them exceedingly well. Others, it's just... "Mmmm! Grapefruit peel!" :P

I am sure, but I like sweet fruity beers, and I have not seen any such beer with hops in it.
