On all the other sites I've been a member of, all I've done is show up to submit something, not even "poking my head in." I'd use the "life got crazy as hell" excuse, but that'd be cliché. I've become so detached from these sites I'm on, my presence has become basically mechanical, lacking emotion or interaction. I feel like I should really be a member, maybe even talk to someone! I want to be a living person. I don't want to be a mindless submission-bot. I don't want to feel like an outsider, I want to feel like I'm part of this community.

I've got some things to work out, so I probably won't have any submissions here for a while.
