Why I don't have a reference sheet by Aldin

Aldin here, as in what you might refer to as my Evil Author’s fursona, hacking into his account. I’m doing this ‘cause people don’t understand why he hasn’t got a reference sheet for me, even though he’s had offers from a few artists (including one he sent Moxie to as a gift) to create a reference sheet for me. I've probably posted this before, but it doesn't hurt to put out a reminder, 'cause who goes journal entry diving these days?

While Evil Author has allowed some artists to depict me as toony, I’m not toony. I’m a standard, normal, “feral” squirrel. No, really. (tailflick) Yeah, I’m retired from lab research (as a scientist, not a test subject, thank you), but otherwise, I’m just a run-of-the-mill gray squirrel in appearance. Of course back in those days, if you had seen me in the lab, you’d have seen me in a squirrel-size lab coat with my tail tied against my body for safety sake—wouldn’t want to accidentally knock something over if I got over excited and the tail started flicking about. (nod)

What is there to reference? (curioustailflick—briefly holds tail up in a question mark) I’m just a “normal”/feral eastern gray squirrel. AKA Sciurus Carolinensis.

You know how to use Google or some other search engine, right? Then you can find all kinds of photo references for my species. Provided, no two gray squirrels look exactly alike (much like you humans), but the basic features are similar. Our pelt is cream to white in color on the chest/underside and peppery gray with some beige-brown streaks mixed in on the back, head/face and tail. Not good at “Google-fu”, just go look on Wikipedia’s Wikimedia page on our species for several examples: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Sciurus_carolinensis
