Always-open Commission Form Closing! by Nommz

Heyo!
So, as stated previously, I'm ditching the always-open commission form. I went into detail in previous journals, but the gist of it was that it set out to supplement slavestreams in an efficient way that wouldn't keep commissioners waiting as a result of slavestreams taking up time, but it ultimately failed and had other unforeseen effects on how folks commissioned me. So I'm going back to taking on a set amount of commissions in batches and just opening up whenever I finish. Since slavestreams do take priority in stream/work time, that does mean that I may take longer than usual with the batches, but I feel like its simpler and in everyone's favor.

In any case, that's not what this journal is about! I just wanted to warn folks that the always-open commission form is closing for good next Friday. I'll still work through my queue and potentially contact more folks for commissions from my pool of submitted ideas through December, but the form itself will be closed. I honestly wouldn't suggest banking on me being able to get to a brand new form submission, but if you absolutely must or don't mind possibly resubmitting when I open up again later, then that is your prerogative. I'll be opening batches some time in January; more information regarding that will be posted in the coming weeks! Sit tight~

Also, if you use Twitter! I have an art twitter where I exclusively post art updates - both information/reminders about commissions opening as well as posting actual artwork. It can be found here: https://twitter.com/NommzArts ! I understand that it can be a bit of a pain sifting through journals to know when folks open for commissions, so ideally you can do one of two things with this account! If you use Twitter mobile, you can get notifications for individual accounts' tweets: http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Push-Notifications-for-a-User's-Tweets-on-Twitter-for-iPhone The process is pretty much the same on android. Alternatively, if you use Tweetdeck, you can set up a column for one individual user's tweets (or a list of multiple ones, if you want) and set desktop notifications for that column. Hope this helps!

As usual, if you've any questions regarding commissions in any form, feel free to ask! Either commenting here, notes, or emails - all are fine!
