You've explored the USA. You've conquered the world. And you've encountered exotic proportions. Now, from the creative minds of Raw Thrills Co. Ltd. (an arcade manufacturer that was founded in 2001 by Eugene Jarvis, Deepak Deo and Andrew Eloff, as well as former staff of Midway Games, prior to the former's deadly fate) and Nintendo (now owns the rights to its racing IP), Cruis'n is about to have a very "blasting" comeback!

And what does the title say? Cruis'n Blast. Those of you new to the Cruis'n series, lemme give you the full 101 of what the entire game is.

Basically, Cruis'n is a name of a series of racing video games that were once published by Midway Games, which Nintendo decided to own the entire IP before its developing partner went bye-bye time. There were only a few arcade cabinets that were around my time in the 90s, such as USA, World and Exotica. Now, with Raw Thrills, anything goes!

Let's get into the modern side: Cruis'n Blast will be marked as the fourth entry in the Cruis'n series. Raw Thrills will be publishing the entire game, and Nintendo will act as not only a developer, but also a co-producer. Makes a lot of sense, don't it? ;)

As the first ever Cruis'n game to be made by both these guys, since Midway Games was nowhere to be found anymore, it will share its similarities to Cruis'n World, based on many locations like London, Singapore, Rio, Madagascar and much more! Plus, every track will have tons of speed, explosive visuals and "extreme special FX". The best part?

Players can experience a real life car racing event with an immersive cockpit simulator equipped with 43-inch high-definition screens and the Thrill-D Blaster sound system, which Raw Thrills claims will recreate the sounds of an actual race. It feels good to be a 90s kid. Expect the game to arrive at your local arcade this January 2017! Unless you have one nearby, of course.
