I am participating in Inktober again this year.
Last year the whole process of getting up and doing a painting a day was very therapeutic. It allowed me space. Unfortunately it was coupled with the unexpected and untimely passing of my beloved grandfather.
Some of the Inktober images from 2015 were directly related to my feelings around his funeral and the travel connected with it.

This year is just marked by the memory of a voice I won't be able to hear again. As a result of this feeling I have picked myths, specifically fea/fairy myths, creatures, and figures that related to the dream like state of the third world.
