Medieval Research GoFundMe? by Threetails

If I were to start a GoFundMe campaign to do serious medieval history research, could I count on all of you to spread the word and help me signal boost outside the fandom? Like, serious, all over social media type signal boost?

I'm no novice when it comes to historical research about the Middle Ages. My senior capstone at Portland State involved working with an actual medieval manuscript, and now my research has caught the interest of Encyclopedia Britannica (my revisions to their article on William Longsword will go live before too terribly long). However, because I lack both the language requirements and the additional coursework, grad school might be difficult. The language requirements I can fulfill by taking a CLEP test, but the additional coursework would be difficult because I've already maxed out my undergrad student aid. I need to get into grad school to be eligible for additional aid and it's always possible that even with my star as a historian rising, I might not get in.

But I don't have to have a Master's Degree. Not if I can get enough people who want to see me succeed, who care about helping a really promising academic show what she can really do with or without a postgrad degree.

Here's what the GoFundMe would cover:
-Travel to France and England to study documents and places related to the Angevin Empire. This would include coach airfare, ground transport, lodging, and food. I am willing to prepare a detailed and publicly-available expense report of my trip to show that I have not been traveling in luxury.
-Latin lessons so that I can read original documents that haven't been translated, compiled, or published yet (there are TONS of them across Europe).
-A visual artist to help bring the project I have in mind to life (this will not be the sort of style Kobi does so he's not really an option).
-My share of the rent so I have an apartment to come back to.

I probably won't start this GoFundMe until I've exhausted what I can learn from local libraries. I still have a lot of material to sort through so it's going to be a while, but I would hope that getting the word out that I'm planning on doing this project will generate interest.
