I didn't get the job.

I was hoping today would be the day I hand in my 2 weeks' notice, but no such luck.

This simplifies my insurance dilemma a bit, but it leaves me with a job that barely pays enough to get by.

For now, I'm trying to get back to a normal rhythm. I'm still chipping away at my next novel, little by little. I'm still moving forward on my theological readings and notes for my future ordination.

As far as work, if nothing else in six months I'll be eligible to take a better position. Hoping to apply for a manager-in-training position so I can at least have some management experience, since it seems that's the easiest route to advance for now.

I'll still apply for interesting jobs, though. I can't spend the rest of my life mopping up feces.
