I figured it was about time I posted one of these. It covers the basics which is good enough for me. So here are my terms and conditions!
Client must provide the following:
Payment/deposit info
Commissions $20.00 and under- Full payment is required.
Commissions over $20.00 a 50% deposit will be required to start on preliminary sketches, remaining 50% is required after sketch/lines are approved.
Deposits are non-refundable
There will be a max of 2 minor edits at the sketch/line art stage. Any additional or major edits would be discussed at an additional cost.
If for any reason the client chooses to cancel a commission that is between 50-75% complete (eg. completed lines, flats, and/or some shading) there will be a max refund of 25% of the commission price. There is no refund on commissions over that are over 75% complete.
The client may post or upload the commissioned image anywhere they choose as long as credit is given. The client can distribute print of the image for non-profit purposes such as printed material, t-shirts, or postcards. The commissioned image may not be altered without written permission from the artist.
