Gene Wilder, who played the ever loving, mysterious, and kooky character of Willy Wonka, has died today at the age of 83. Such a sad day. He brought so much joy to generations who had watched Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. Today's young generation may say that Johnny Depp is Willy Wonka, but for us older generations, Gene Wilder will always be Willy Wonka.

We'll miss you, Gene. Thank you so much for the memories for us as kids when we watched Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.
