I think as artists, people are very critical of their own work. In example, one of my pieces that I think should be burned because ew, I've had people go "omg that looks like it should be a museum!"
And I'm like ???? NO???? IT SHOULD DIE???
Also in example, I say your art is #goals and you say ???? because artists are judgmental of themselves so harshly that compliments are like..."That sounds fake but okay"
