Hey gang, myself and are currently resting up at my parent's house in PA. We had a good time, though AC was kind of strange and different this year- mainly due to a lot of our usual gang of friends not being here for all sorts of reasons- financial, medical, moving, busy, working, or just plain not feeling it this year. Their absence was palpable and we didn't have that usual feel of being able to flow from friends group to friends group like at previous Anthrocons. Still, we had a good time despite that and I got to spend time with new folks and get more acquainted with other friends.

I only bought two things this year- a tail for my fursuit and two very excellent prints from Stablercake. There were excellent things in the art show I wanted to bid on but man, it seemed like a lot of fuss.

Highlights:

• Having tacos and tequila at Bakersfield. We went twice, Thursday by ourselves and Friday night with Starbyte and both halves of the Interwibbles. The tacos were just too good.
• Fursuiting late night Saturday, having horrid bros telling us we were hot and girls excited and squealing to get selfies with us.
• Party with friends from my old college
• Playing a round of telephone in the zoo
• Late night concert by the waterfront featuring ThatOneGuy and Scurrow and Veckus playing music
• Our traditional curry outing at Nicky's Thai with Chronoteeth
• Lunch w/ Skittle, Fritter, Yazoo, and Liv. Skipping the dance comp and having the quietest time at Tonic because of it lmao
• A Thorough Heckin' (mystery)
• Got to meet Lambcannon (who is responsible for working on and distributing Sienna Nanini's Pants Down Time, which is very good, please buy it on vinyl! http://www.frontierrecords.com/31081.html )
• There's probably other stuff I'm forgetting. Oh well!!!

Questionable stuff:

• Getting trapped in conversation while in fursuit by two older furry gentlemen who had a lot of Opinions about our tails.
• Guy asking what the furry lifestyle was like. "It's non-stop fucking, right?" I told him it was mostly paperwork. He didn't know what jokes are, I think.
• Very lost and confused guy trying to find and talk to con ops bc he'd missed registration, really wanted our advice but there was literally nothing to be done. Sorry buddy, hope you found what you wanted :c
• Fursuiter getting in front of my camera and refusing to leave until high fived by both of us. Don't.
• Strangers very loudly entering our conversations unprompted. Including a guy who wanted to tell us something about math (and he repeated the same math that Anf had just figured out loud). Thanks...

Bad:

• Apparently a lot of things, but none of which happened to us.

I probably won't do a big shoutout and list of everyone we saw (because I always miss folks) but it was great seeing everyone. Thank you for drinking, drawing, eating, chatting, and chilling with me and Anfael!
