Okay...so yesterday was very long and rough.

945am: Mom and I head out to my grandmother's house to check on an injured leg she had, as well as bring her some items.

10:30am (appx): Get to her house. Examine leg. See that there is a four-inch by one-inch by about half an inch gash in her leg that has yellow parts. Decision made to take her to clinic.

12pm (appx): get to clinic after trying to find one she will agree to go to.

1pm (appx): get told by physician at clinic that the wound is too infected for them to treat. Recommends taking her to ER. Mother takes her to ER while I peel off to attend (much needed by this time) counseling.

210pm: find out my counselor had a family emergency and was not available. Told this after waiting to be seen for twenty minutes. Get gas for car and head to hospital.

3pm (appx): Get to hospital. Find my way to the ER. Wound has been cleaned. IV put in.

4pm (appx): Nurse puts IV bag of antibiotics in room and hooks grandmother up to it.

530pm (appx): Grandmother finishes IV bag. Wound is wrapped. Discharged from ER.

710: I get her prescription filled at a store out by my place. Mother has taken grandmother back to her (Grandmother's) home.

730pm: Get home from store with prescription. Start laundry.

800 pm: Mother gets home.

900pm (appx): I check e-mails. Find out my new gaming PC has shipped. Projected arrival of Wednesday.

1130ish pm: Bed.

So yes...a long day. Stressful day.
