FA-POCALYPSE (nine-teen-nine-ty-two) by Kjorteo
Good heavens, my inbox exploded over the last couple weeks. GOSH, WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THAT I WONDER.
I guess I should just put out a blanket welcome and/or welcome back to all FA refugees, be they newcomers or "I got an account to squat on it years ago but given recent circumstances maybe I should actually start using it" cases! I'm going to try to do my part to comment on more stuff (not everything, but, I mean, at least more than I usually do) to see if we can foster some sort of community here. This place is nice and I really want it to step up now that the competition is imploding.
I stopped being active on FA and moved here ages ago, so if you happen to have been watching me back in the day, just moved here yourself, and are now catching up on where I've been: Hi! I'm still Teo. I stopped being a husky and/or coyote and am now a woodrat. I had a girlfriend for a few years and then we broke up. I'm possibly transgender now. (It's kind of an ongoing exploration and nothing is certain yet, but suffice it to say that my sona and I currently seem to enjoy being regarded as female.) But, you know, other than that you didn't really miss anything except a bunch of submissions.
How about you? What have you been up to this whole time?

1992 isn't the year - it's just the count of terrible mistakes FA has made :)
Trying to comment more and encouraging people to comment in return is a great step towards Weasyl becoming more attractive. It works great but it's currently completely dead.
On my part, I'm going to keep my FA account (with a unique password, obviously) but keep pointing people over here, maybe with the attraction of my putting things up here first.

Every time something like this happens, some people leave FA in disgust and actually stay gone, then it comes back up and most of the rest shrug and go back. I myself left in some other exodus years ago and have been here ever since. But every time there's an FA disaster--and there is never a shortage of those--they shed people. If this community picks up and if the disasters continue at this rate, eventually we're bound to have enough refugees for something to come of it!

When I saw the title, I figured this was going to be an NSFW post, as "Fapocalypse" seems like it should be subtitled "The End is Cumming."
