FA Account coming down + Zip Files! by KaitoFletcher

My FA account will be officially deactivated this evening. I'm trying to give ample enough time for people to find me and follow me other places if they so desire. I have my reasons for doing all this, I really am not up for debate on it. People are staying or leaving, and either is perfectly fine, I just personally am doing the latter. And yes, this does require me to nuke my submissions.

But, if you haven't saved what you want yet or just want the gallery in its entirety, Vindios was kind enough to grab the entire gallery for me and I have the zip of it all~ So, just let me know if you want that and I can get you a link or just email it to you.

Thank you all for being so understanding and wonderful about all this. It's been a roller coaster and it wasn't easy to get the ball rolling. I understand that people are angry with me for this, but its for my safety and the safety of my customers that I remove myself from FA. But again, thank you guys so much for following me here and continuing to encourage my work and creativity. <3 You have no idea how much it means to me.

      Such a messy way of resetting passwords x.X it took me a good 5 hours to even get a response from support last night. Then another long while to actually get into the ancient email I used to sign up years ago.

    I know I mentioned it in a previous reply, but if you do find a way to permanently close the account, let us know! All I'd been able to do in the past was "deactivate" it...

      Sadly it looks like that's all I can do too. I'm just removing everything, changing the email to some stupid one and changing the password so even if FA is hacked again, it doesn't come back to bite me.

        Yeah, just checked myself. They're worse to quit than a gym apparently. :(
        I just put in my "burner" (back up) email on the off chance that they ever contact me for something.

        For the record: There are people over there now, people who just lost personal information to parties they do not know, wishing that those complaining about the site's security would just leave...

          I love how much crap I'm getting for finally leaving. It's amazing how many people still stand up for the site after all that they've done.

            It's cool, it's not like people often use website passwords broadly across all their more important sites or anythin...wait a minute!

            Snarky comments aside, this breach has taught me that people are far worse than even I had imagined. FA lost your information due to terrible security and you defend them? Is an FA server going to have to literally fall on someone's mother before they finally leave?

            It's disheartening to hear from these people. Sorry that they're giving you so much grief!

      It's a wonderful site! I feel very comfortable here and hope you do too! It's not gonna be easy to make the swap after so many years on FA, but I think it's for the best.
